Yup...same here. I hate it so much when people are like " I am sooo blessed, look at all the good things God has given me" but when they end up in shitty situations they seem to completely forget the logic that if he's giving you all the good stuff, he's also letting you be abused and treated like crap. Sooooo, like, you going to call him out on that or not?

I honestly feel that one reason more churches aren't utterly destroyed after allegations of abuse etc is because people are too terrified to look at the double standard they hold God to in their lives. Like there's no way he could be asleep at the wheel if he's helping them out, right? It's so ridiculously self centered.
