Views don't pay..reads do. Views on your responses don't pay either. I have no idea why people get stoked about their overall views. You can have a million views on a response but you don't make a single cent on it.

I wish Medium would separate out non paying views from paying ones. It's annoying to see a whole lot of views and realize it is on one comment that you don't get paid for or external views which you also don't get paid for. So irritating. Just show me where I am making money.
