They are trying new things and I don't get why ppl assume that streaming shows have to be TV like in story construction. Sense 8 sure as hell wasn't and that came out years ago and was amazing.

Let's also be completely honest here, I too watched Supernatural and there are a whole crap ton of filler eps, especially in the later seasons, that serve no purpose at all.

You made a comment about what if someone missed two eps of Loki? Technically they can't as the eps are always available so if you did miss a week just go back and watch the EP you missed.

I like shows that know where they end, if they know they only have 6 eps it pushes them to not ramble, for the most part. You need to make each ep count. It is like writing flash fiction vs a 5 book novel series.

I have see several other ppl make this critique and I find it interesting that people are locked into "TV show" concepts on networks/services that by design are allowed to be freeform and play.

Watch the show for what it is. Try not to think it has to be what you've
always known "shows" to be.
