There needs to be the reader interest in it, it seems that most of the websites that do well with serialized content are sites that are either romance heavy, or like lit rpg. I posted the first like six chapters of my book here no one's read it. I see other people doing serialized work and part of it yes is the organization of the website, but I think there's only certain genres that appeal to readers in a serialized way. And I really don't want medium to become another Wattpad or Royal road where we're getting taking over by romance fans or specific genres. If you want serialized content your best bet is to go to those sites and find it. I've already heard that Vella is basically only working well for romance writers.

It seems that readers in other genres aren't that interested in it.
