So far, other than making the app able to write posts, edit and publish, which is the bare minimum these days for any writing app, I have yet to see one change benefit anyone. Removing the entity bar made it harder for ppl to find the ppl they liked to read and now dumping the distribution notices seems more about making it harder to track who is getting rewarded than anything beneficial to anyone. If the only ppl getting distributed are the big names anyway, which helps them make more money while the rest of us get shafted why do I feel that in the end the only person benefitting is the person trying to make the profit margin look better.
