One...this requires money and time. Two... liberals as a whole rarely consistently support any attempts to do this. Three...define progress. On federal or state levels? Take gun control for instance. Some Dem states have made huge strides, others have not so is that progress or not? On LGBTQ rights, same thing.

Abortion rights bill have been attempted but once again there is the red blue divide.

Inflation, environment etc has a whole ton of areas and variables.

I have seen several attempts at things like this come and go and usually what happens is people don't support it, the ones doing it burn out and they also get attacked by people who are the "it's not perfect so it's not progress!!" Crew.

Easiest thing to do is follow politicians on Twitter, find good sources of analysis, follow them on Twitter too and read it as you scroll your feed.
