Maybe ask how many employees actually get $20 an hour? Fast food chains are notorious for saying "up to $20" and then add a whole bunch of hoops like full time have to work all the shit shifts and then refuse to schedule you full time, give you half what they said and fuck you over anyway. This will not destroy the fast food industry and if it pushes automation oh fucking well. McDonald's treats their employees like shit so they are getting what they deserved.
