Lol none of those things you mentioned will fix the problems the church has. It's not about services or songs or communions. Churches are failing because they don't practice what they preach. You want to get people, especially young people into church. Stop with all the attempts at glitz and glam and listen. Young people these days see through bullshit in a heartbeat and they don't trust anything that feels like top down, adults speaking out of both sides of their mouths and condescending to them.

You want to get them interested, prove you have value to them, prove you're not just another bullshitter closeted bigot who wants money. What can you do for them no one else can? And quoting Bible versus and singing songs ain't going to do it.

Being authentic, empathetic and caring might and turn down the religious rhetoric. Show don't tell. Then maybe you will get somewhere.
