If you watch the Clone Wars Animated series then the original trilogy you don't need the prequel movies and Anakin's story is so much better. You get to see him as the epitome of a Jedi Knight, kind, compassionate, passionate, patient and dedicated. You also see his relationship with Padme on a much healthier level and you really understand that it wasn't that he was a spoiled overly ambitious brat. Lucas destroyed Anakin as a character in the movies and Filoni gave us who Anakin really was.
