If all the people who wrote articles about meta posts and hating them just blocked writers who wrote them those writers would go away on their own. Just take control of your algorithm and move on with your life. Most meta/content creator types are here just to make as much money as possible as quickly as possible. If we make it harder for them by ignoring their posts the problem will solve itself.
