I think overall most people are straying from church weddings in general. Destination weddings, backyard weddings, weddings taking place in locations that have meaning to the couple are much more popular. Most chuches these days are rather plain looking, which isn't a bad thing necessarily but they don't tend to make for great instagram photos and that's what more and more people want.
