I personally think that in the meantime we, individually, should just start blocking authors that only write articles about how to make money on Medium, that are promoting scammy ways to make money or are only about productivity life hacks that we've all heard and seen a million times. Maybe if they stop making money they will go elsewhere.

They could also change the algorithm to ignore any articles that discuss how to make money or get followers so those articles plummet.
