I am a bit behind on commenting on this as it just popped into my feed but I am going to offer a different perspective on the person who asked the question about your anxiety.

I find it a little troubling that so many people here assume she had some ill intention. Mental Health Awareness in the mainstream and people being open about it is still relatively new, many people have never had to have conversations with others about it and they're trying to learn what it is and how it affects people and for people to assume that this person has ill intentions seems a bit wrong to me.

Maybe they were just asking because they had read one of your posts or someone mentioned you write about the topic and they wanted to discuss it with you. If we automatically shut down conversations from people who don't know how it affects people than how we will get better as a society at learning how to help people with mental illness not feel stigmatized?

I know it is exhausting for you to have to go through these conversations but I think the majority of people asking about mental illness want to genuinely learn more about it. If we ourselves don't deal with anxiety how do we know how it affects other people?

My $.02 anyway.
