I always assume that people showing off their decor have way more money than I do, money or time. I remember the big "upcycling" trend a few years back and how it led to upcycled furniture costing more than brand new because of that one word "Bespoke", which I loathe almost as much as the word Paleo now.

Sure you can upcycle stuff if you have tools, paint, space to do all of that etc.

At the end of the day if you've got a roof over your head and a comfy couch you're good to go.
