Here is how I deal with this, I say to hell with marketing, to hell with finding a niche or writing to your reader. I have blocked any writer churning out content that tells me how to write, or make money writing. I wrote my novels my way, and they are selling bit by bit. Here I write what feels needs to be shared, facts, positivity on politics, reviews that aren't all about shredding creativity and I am getting money and followers.

People do want to hear your voice, they just have to be reminded that they do. Clickbait works because it taps into the lizard brain humans have, but we have to challenge people to rise above that and we do it with writing what we feel needs to be written.

You will find an audience, there are billions of people out there. It will happen.
