COVID is in the same family as the common cold and the flu, which means yes, some people will get it year after year after year even with precautions, and some people will never get sick at all. I got the first vaccination, had COVID once and haven't bothered with the newer boosters. I am fortunate is that I never seem to get the flu or the cold, I have a kick ass immune system, other people I know get sick every year. The vaccine's whole purpose was to stop hospitals from getting flooded with people dying from COVID, it did that which therefore means it was a success. From here on out the rest is pretty much the luck of the draw for people.
