Anakin is actually the hero of Star Wars....he fulfilled the prophecy perfectly. He brought balance to the Force by wiping out both sides and rebooting everything back to zero. It's funny how few people see it that way. He wiped the hollow shell of itself that was the Jedi Order out of existence and took out the Sith Lord, no one other than Anakin could have taken out Palpatine because Anakin was the only apprentice Palpatine ever respected, cared for and allowed to be that close to him at all times. I also think it's interesting Palpatine supposedly saw the future so perfectly but was utterly blind to how Anakin would betray him just as much as Yoda and the Jedi failed to sense the Sith Lord standing right fricking next to them.
